I made it a full 26 days before I thought a glass of champagne at a holiday event was a good idea. That turned into loosening up the next night at a friends house party with more champagne then dinner out I wasn’t as strict the following day next thing you know it’s been three days and that turned into paleo baking that turned into a trip to the whole foods bar and having licks taste and bites at work. Now, I’m sitting here feeling like crap all over and craving sweets. Lesson learned and I’m the women in the picture. I want to be honest and straight forward with my followers.
The positive is I went 26 days of strict not cheat Whole30. I had no reasons for my slip and frankly I felt I had control but I didn’t I wasn’t ready and not sure I will be anytime soon.
I don’t make New Years resolution plans but this year for 2014 I’m making a plan to continue living this lifestyle and feeling great!
I made it through 26 full days and pretty much broke it off this weekend… I still maintained eating healthy and avoid the bad things but there were several dinners out with the boyfriend and brunch with the Tri team and well it’s that time of month (no excuses). But really why I’m writing this is to say how I feel. It’s simple like crap. I prefer the clean eating and actually NOT drinking. This is what it’s all about learning, growing and making this a lifestyle change. I’m on my way. So I’m not giving up I have four more challenge days it won’t be all in a row but I can’t let myself down. Here’s to a sticky Whole30 the next four days.
Whole30 Day 25 Complete! I still don’t feel bad about yesterday… so I guess this is working after all. Because why should I feel guilty for having a glass of champagne? I have to say I had a shot of Kettle One on the rocks tonight and it was delish! It’s nice adding things slowly back it. I look at this as a lifestyle change not just something I did for 30 days. The big thing for me is the sugars and processed carbs.
One month until my Ironman training begins!! Need to lose another 10 lbs.
I’m human and it’s the holidays!
So unfortunately I may have let a few of you down tonight because I won’t be posting a completed Whole30 day. Tonight I went to the Boston Chamber Holiday Party at the State Room (the million dollar view) and had a glass of my favorite, champagne. Followed by dinner at McCormicks. I just had some clam chowder (not worth it) and a bite of their bead also not worth it but did keep it real with $1 oysters and $1 shrimp as well as some Tuna Tartare so all in all not to bad of a “cheat” if you will. I do want to note that I felt like crap after. I’m liking this new life style and no Lon we calling it a challenge it’s just the way I live.
