Ironman: Science of Sleep
I’m the average American as I get about 6 hours of sleep per night. Guess it’s time to log off and get some shut eye!
Wheels up; rain or shine. I’ve got an 1:45 interval ride tonight pushing Zone 2. I’m tired but going to give it my all and make it a quality training session!
Just got my new Pro Compressions socks! Love them and they are super comfortable. Here’s to recovery and blood flow.
Rain or shine open water swimming at Walden Pond. There is just something so peaceful about swimming in the open water. Once we hit the other side of the pond we just floated while the rain poured down on us and being there in the center of the fog, hearing the birds sing is was what I call life’s simple pleasures!
Clearly I have a bike photo obsession!
Time to hit it with a 35 min recovery run!
Today my coach bumped me up a lane in master swim. I went from a 2:00 min base lane to a 1:40 base lane. Gotta love threshold swimming. I pushed myself to keep up but in a few months I will be stronger and faster.
